today is such a blah crap day.. just a sludgy slow day..

so i was playing with my new cell phone at work still trying to figure out how to connect online through it when i found myself locked out of my own phone.. apparently, i altered my PIN number around accidentally causing my phone to lock up and demanding that i phone customer service for a PUK in order to unlock the PIN to unlock my phone.. 1 service number, 1 toll free number, and a 40 minute long distance number later, my cell was saved.. .. i also pressed the SOS button with the thought that it would be immediate customer service - turns out it was 911.. oooOOOo.

i also found out that my lack of internet via the cell was because it wasn't on my plan.. cingular's site easily let me add it and now i can download the farting ringtone, a beer background graphic, and Techmo Bowl that i've dreamt of..

not to mention that i'll finally be able for my friends to get in touch with me.. =)

6 people playing the second game..
i played my hands in the poker tournament tonight fucking great..
everyone even said i played them fucking great..

here's just the hands that i lost on.. (????????)

first game:
pocket kings

the flop had 2 queens and a jack
the turn had a 6 of hearts
and finally, the river was another jack..
after all the betting (me going all-in), los flipped a trip jack..
wtf???.. well played both ways.. good hands.. but i should've bet harder sooner..

second game:
ace king suited! (known as the: BIG SLICK in poker)

i bet it all..
yums called..
he's got a jack - 8 offsuit..
nothing on the flop for both of us..
the turn = nothing..
the river was an 8............

wtf?????... below a 2% chance of winning...
even yums was like, "OMG! i can't believe it.. jay, you had me beat soo bad.. dude.."

ah well.. fun was had and knowledge gained..

fuck van helsing.... BY FAR THE WORST MOVIE EVER.... enriched with horrible dialog and the worst acting ever, the classic van helsing story (plus werewolf, vampires, frankenstein, etc) is/are fucked forever... i've seen a lot of movies.. but.. by far, this is the worst movie i have ever seen.... ever.. i mean, ever..

hmm.. an update? sure, why not?.. im bored..

- taxes! im actually getting money back from the government for once! kick ass.. but it's going directly to my parents to start paying off what i owe them..

- world without is breathing again.. after a month or 2 of bad practices or no practices, we are finally moving forward again.. and we have about 3 or 4 songs in the works..

- festival international was cool.. it was me, matt, and los.. too bad it rained right when the african drummers were starting (i really wanted to see them).. bought a hemp braclet and a neato bon leeto necklace for 10 bux.. then had an unexpected get together at los' crib with some old friends who, i might add, were kind enough to bring an ice chest full of beer plus a suitcase (this on top of the beer that me and los had bought previous to this).. fun indeed..

- nhl playoffs have become quite addictive.. los, a self-taught guru of hockey, has been my jay-to-hockey translator making it that much more interesting.. im a detroit fan; my birthplace.. $$

- bought 2 music dvds recently.. slipknot's "disasterpieces" and chevelle "live from norva".. both are kick ass and are 'jay recommends'..

- im about to direct, shoot, and edit a commercial for my dad - for free.. a few peeps from work are more than happy to help me out and have great experience across the board.. im planning on the shoot date for may 8 (saturday) for around 9pm - until.. this should be pretty fun, plus, i can always use it as resume material.. yay for win-win situations..

- may is a marriage month apparently.. zach is to be wed may 1st which i'll be attending (just the reception.. 4 hour catholic weddings are way too long).. and jonathon (drizzt) and melanie are to be wed may 22.. i'll be attending both the wedding and reception.. (this is not a catholic wedding.. hour or less = leet).. drizzt is genuinely happy and it's great to see that..

- been playing zelda: the wind waker like whoa since april 19.. sooo good.. and now to go further my adventure a few more hours..

flooded with memories, i downloaded the song.. then remembered i have the cd.. Monster..
i bought it so long ago..
relaxation..... comfortness...
friday, when i get my paycheck, im going to have to buy another big cd case..
i need to organize my cds..
that will actually be fun..

well.. the end of this month (april), i should have about 1 year left paying for my car..
once i pay off my car, then im paying off my parents.. thats about $800+..
so by december 2005, i should be going + in money for once.. no more neutrality..
however, i'll prolly spend the money on travelling... hopefully..
but these are dreams still a year and a half away..
well see how things go.. =/
